Excitement in the Air

 This school year is going to be great, I can just tell!

 Jexten starts Kindergarten! YAY!

 Adessa is a grown up 2nd grader!

Adessa held off the eagerness to rip open the wrapping paper to thoughtfully study the beautiful Card Great Grandma Patsy and Great Grandpa Mel had given her.  She has always been a kind and considerate child, but I think this was the first year that she stopped long enough to read every word on the card herself.  In years past, she has noticed the card and looked at the cover... and then quickly passed it on to me to read.  8 really is different, and different is good!

 Adessa really had us laughing with her witty and ever so honest remarks!

 No cake for this girl... all she wanted was Fudge brownies with pink cherry frosting and don't forget the sprinkles on top!  We had just come home from the Cultural Celebration for the Brigham City Temple.  I wish I could have videoed her while watching that.  She boogied and grooved to all the numbers.  What a treasure she is to us!
